Just by adding a small amount of additive to our clear powder when over coating a base colour you can create a metallic/flip finish!
Step 1Powder coat and cure part with a base colour, note dark colours tend to produce the best results. |

Step 2Make sure you have left an exposed area to attach your earth lead to for the second stage of this process. |

Step 3Prepare metallic mix - Add 1 tub of additive to 1/4kg of powder, note the more you add the more reflective the finish. |

Step 4Seal bag (leave plenty of air in) then shake for 2 minutes. |

Step 5Attach earth lead to bare metal area. |

Step 6Fill powder coating gun with metallic mix and spray part as normal, note it will coat white and cure back to translucent. |

Step 7Cure part as normal at 180 deg c for 10 min's and remove from heat source, part is now complete. |
